Website & Platform Terms

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms govern use of the TAP website and online platform unless a separate signed agreement, order form or partner agreement applies. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement takes precedence to that extent.

1. About TAP

TAP — Technology Assurance Platform is provided by TASK Global Technologies Ltd, company number 13750713, registered in England and Wales. TAP provides compliance, assurance, assessment, evidence, remediation, reporting and related workflow capabilities.

2. Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate account information, keep authentication credentials secure, and use only the workspace, role and permissions assigned to you. If you administer an organisation or partner workspace, you must have authority to invite users, configure access and submit information on behalf of that organisation.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse TAP, attempt to bypass access controls, access another customer's information without authority, interfere with service operation, introduce malicious code, use automated means to abuse rate limits or capacity, or use TAP for unlawful activity.

4. Customer content and evidence

You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and appropriateness of information and documents you upload or submit. You must not upload material that you do not have authority to use or disclose. TAP's controls and reports depend on the information supplied and should not be treated as independent verification unless the relevant workflow expressly provides for review or assurance.

5. Assessments and regulatory content

TAP assessments are designed to support readiness, governance and assurance workflows. They do not themselves create legal, regulatory or certification status. Standards, laws and regulatory expectations may change and may apply differently by jurisdiction, sector, organisation type and circumstances. Customers remain responsible for obtaining legal, regulatory, audit or certification advice where required.

6. AI-enabled features

Where TAP provides AI-enabled assistance, outputs may require human review and should not be treated as a guaranteed statement of law, eligibility, certification or professional assurance. Users remain responsible for reviewing material decisions and source evidence. TAP does not authorise AI features to bypass access, billing or mandatory approval controls.

7. Plans, billing and third-party services

Paid features may depend on the selected plan, billing period, usage or a separately agreed commercial arrangement. Payment processing may be provided by Stripe or another authorised provider. Third-party services can have their own terms and availability. Prices, taxes, renewal and cancellation terms presented at checkout or in a signed order form form part of the applicable commercial terms.

8. Intellectual property

TASK and its licensors retain rights in TAP software, product design, assessment architecture, content, branding and documentation except where rights are expressly granted. Customers retain rights in their own content subject to the permissions necessary for TAP to host, process and deliver the service.

9. Availability and changes

We may maintain, secure, improve or modify TAP. We aim to design the service to fail safely, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Material enterprise service levels or support commitments apply only where agreed in the relevant contract.

10. Suspension and account closure

Access may be suspended where necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use, material breach, or to protect the service and other users. Account closure and data handling are subject to applicable contractual, legal, evidential and retention requirements; deletion is not automatic merely because access ends.

11. Liability and professional reliance

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Unless separately agreed, TAP is a technology and workflow service and is not a substitute for legal advice, statutory audit, regulatory determination or accredited certification.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Our Cookie & Local Storage Policy describes browser technologies currently used by TAP.

13. Governing terms

These website and platform terms should be read with any applicable signed agreement. Enterprise, partner and customer contracts may contain additional provisions on service levels, data processing, security, liability, termination and governing law.

Anonymous journey metrics

TAP can use a random session-only identifier to understand public pricing, health-check and checkout journeys. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not include names, email addresses, health-check answers, enquiry text or document content.
